Cobalt Blue has successfully demonstrated a robust metallurgical flowsheet that can extract high-purity cobalt and nickel sulphates, as well as other chemical and metal products.
Detailed research and development have been completed at the facility for optimizing the metallurgical flowsheet for processing a range of critical minerals feedstocks to manufacture metals as well as high purity battery grade chemicals suitable for the production of pre-cursor Cathode Active Material (pCAM).
Feedstock types including cobalt hydroxides, cobalt sulphides, nickel-cobalt intermediates, and recycled lithium-ion battery black mass from NCM and LCO chemistries.
