Cobalt Blue Signs Offtake Term Sheet for Kwinana Cobalt Refinery

KCR progressed toward FID

Cobalt Blue has signed a term sheet with international commodities trader STG for the sale of standard grade cobalt metal from the Kwinana Cobalt Refinery.

The proposed terms cover up to 1,000 tonnes per annum of cobalt metal over an initial three-year term. KCR’s initial capacity is 3,000 tonnes of contained cobalt, with 2,000 tonnes expected to be produced as cobalt sulphate.

This term sheet represents another step on the path to Final Investment Decision alongside the Company’s existing feedstock agreement with Glencore and product qualification work at the Broken Hill Technology Centre.
