Progressing Project Infinity
Cobalt Blue and Glomar Minerals continue to make progress on Project Infinity — the joint effort to build and run the world's first commercial polymetallic nodule refinery in the United States
Progress on the ground
Site selection for the planned US-based refinery has progressed, with the field now narrowed to a shortlist of candidate locations.

The first Clarion-Clipperton Zone (CCZ) nodule samples have also been received at Cobalt Blue's Broken Hill Technology Centre, where initial testwork is now underway.

Beyond the standalone potential of Project Infinity, the consortium advances Cobalt Blue's strategy on multiple fronts:
Demonstrates the scalability of the Kwinana Cobalt Refinery flowsheet across multi-metal feedstocks — putting the same processing technology to work on a different resource type, and in doing so, generating data that helps validate the underlying flowsheet at scale.
Creates near-term commercial opportunities for Cobalt Blue through early-stage technical testwork and engineering services.
Positions Cobalt Blue as a leading critical minerals processing technology partner — one capable of applying proven hydrometallurgical expertise to new feedstocks, new partners, and new geographies as the energy transition accelerates.
