BHCP Demonstration Plant Update

As part of our regular business and operation updates, we are very excited to provide this short video detailing the recent progress of the Broken Hill Cobalt Project (BHCP).

Works are progressing rapidly at the mine site. An asphalt and concrete pad has been poured for crushing & concentrate circuit. We’ve established a water reclamation bund and waste material stockpiles. The box cut has exposed a vertical rock face and we’ve begun installation of the 4m X 4m decline portal, which will eventually extend around 80 meters and intersect with the ore body approximately 40 meters below the surface.

Once we have access to that ore, we’ll crush, mill and treat it to produce a cobalt concentrate at the mine site. We’ll then truck it 23k up the road to our processing plant in Broken Hill for extraction and recovery of cobalt in the form of MHP and or cobalt sulphate. The final step will be to dispatch world-wide for testing with battery makers.

As we step closer to commencement of the BHCP Demonstration Plant, investors and other interested stakeholders can expect regular updates.
