Joe Kaderavek was part of the panel discussing cobalt as a global resource, which gave him the opportunity to update attendees on the ongoing development of the Broken Hill Cobalt Project. Joe provided thoughts on the potential for supply tension as demand for ethically sourced materials in Electric Vehicle (EV) batteries outstrips supply for these units.
The Cobalt Institute released its 2021 Cobalt Market Report that provides an in-depth analysis of the trends driving cobalt demand.
Also joined by COB Executive Manager, Andrew Tong, and Investor Relations Manager, Joel Crane, it was a much welcomed opportunity for industry stakeholders to once again gather in person to discuss the latest trends in the cobalt industry and reconnect.
Subsequent to the conference, the COB team took the opportunity to travel across Europe to meet with potential commercial partners and investors in what turned out to be an informative and fruitful set of meetings.
