Roy Butler MP Visits Pyrite Hill, October 2022

Roy Butler is the Member for Barwon, a vast north-west rural electorate of 356,292 square kilometres and the state's largest, covering 44.5% of New South Wales. In October 2022, he returned for a visit to the Broken Hill Cobalt Project Demonstration Plant, this time touring Pyrite Hill with our Demonstration Plant Manager, Adam Randall.

The electorate of Barwon stretches from Walgett, Narrabri and Coonabarabran in the east to Broken Hill and the South Australian border. Broken Hill is a major centre within the electorate and Roy Butler has visited our Demonstration Plant on several occasions, although this is his first visit to Pyrite Hill. Roy Butler MP was accompanied by his supporting staff, where a tour of the Demonstration Plant process show-cased the progress being made on site.
