COB - Quarterly Activity Report September 2026

The September quarter delivered strong progress across Cobalt Blue’s portfolio, with several key milestones within reach across our project and technology platform as we enter the final quarter of 2026.

September 2026 Quarter Activity Highlights:

  • KCR: A metal offtake term sheet was concluded with STG Metals shortly after quarter-end, an important commercial milestone that supports the pathway towards financing and development.

  • Broken Hill Cobalt Project: Work on the Preliminary Feasibility Study progressed during the quarter, with completion of a strategic mine planning assessment that validates the pit optimisation envelope and informs the staged development concept.

  • Broken Hill Technology Centre: BHTC continued to support project development and strategic partnerships, including ongoing cobalt sulphate sample production for KCR qualification and testwork in support of Project Infinity.

  • Halls Creek: On track for an updated Scoping Study before year-end, supported by heap leach testwork targeting copper, silver and zinc recoveries.

  • Glomar & Project Infinity: Cobalt Blue has been formally contracted to provide testwork and engineering services for Project Infinity, marking an important step in the commercialisation of Cobalt Blue’s processing expertise and Broken Hill Technology Centre.

  • Cobalt Market: Although cobalt prices retraced during the quarter, the market remains structurally supported by the key underlying demand drivers of transportation electrification, consumer devices, data centre build-out and defence-related consumption.
